THE ONLINE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP IS A 7 ROUND SWISS open to ONLINE club members around Limerick or having links to Limerick
Time limit: 75 mins + 15 sec increment. Juniors Under 18 may request a 1 hour plus 15 seconds per move increment if they wish. Use lichess play a friend option and adjust time control and increment when issuing a challenge. All players names are listed on Limerick club Contacts list and their handles are listed on Limerick Club list on lichess page for issuing the challenge to start the game.
Suggested default time is 7.30 pm Wed 3rd Feb 2021 but players can rearrange date and time to suit their schedules.
To play your opponent, log in to lichess, click on Play, then click on play a friend to start the game by issuing a challenge to your opponent at the agreed date and time. Remember to adjust the settings for the correct time control and click on the Rated (green) button. A maximum default time of fifteen minutes is allowed i.e. if your opponent does not log in to lichess within fifteen minutes of the agreed time you may claim a walkover. If you are unable to make it for an agreed game please please let your opponent know if possible.
All members of the LCC online in lichess.org can enter if they live in or have close links to Limerick. This tournament is rated on lichess
All round 1 matches to be played by Wed, 3RD FEB 2021 please. One week is allocated to play each round, and players should play games by this deadline date.
