RATE OF PLAY: 3 minutes with 2 second increment a side for all moves. with time handicaps. If 200+ points between the players, time handicap of 3:4 with 2 sec increment, for 400+ 3:6 with 2 sec increment,
ENTRIES AND REPORT:
There were 18 players from Ennis and Limerick clubs participating in this 7 round tournament. Jimmy McKenna came back from Zurich to join in the fun. And of course the winner Angelo Fuentes our new club member is from Peru!
18 year old Angelo Alarcon Fuentes(Limerick) finished in first place on 7/7 points.
Paul Carey (Limerick) and Rory Delaney (Limerick) were joint second on 5/7 points.
James Naughton (Limerick) won Best Junior.
Michael Scully (Limerick) won Best U-1000.
Brian Scully was the Controller with John Cassidy organising. The time handicap format led to some very exciting finishes and was enjoyed by all the players. Congratulations to all winners and thanks to all who participated.
