RATE OF PLAY: 5 minutes with 3 second increment a side for all moves. with time handicaps. If 200+ points between the players, time handicap of 7:5 with 3 sec increment, for 400+ 7:3 with 3 sec increment,
ENTRIES AND REPORT:
There were 18 players from Ennis, Sarsfield and Limerick clubs participating in this 7 round tournament. Rory Quinn(Ennis) finished in first place on a perfect 7/7 points. Kevin O'Flaherty (Limerick) was second on 6/7 points. Gerry Graham(Sarsfield) finished third on 4.5/7 points. Gerry Graham was the controller with John Cassidy organising. The time handicap format led to some very exciting finishes and time scrambles.
