ENTRIES AND REPORT:
There were 20 players from Ennis, Sarsfield, Charleville and Limerick clubs participating in this 6 round tournament. Jan Heinrich(Charleville) finished in first place on 5/6 points. Three players shared joint second, John Cassidy(Ennis), Niall McDonnell(Limerick) and Con Kirby(Limerick) on 4.5/6 points. Kevin O'Flaherty(Limk), Liam O'Brien(Sarsfield) and Alan Salsac(Tralee) finished were next on 4/6 points. Brian Scully was the Controller with John Cassidy organising. The time handicap format led to some very exciting finishes and time scrambles.
